RENSHI (4.5 DAN)/ JUN-SHIDOIN – RYUSHIN SHOUCHI RYU

Tatiana Hanazaki Sensei was born and raised in Brazil. Despite the Japanese name and appearance, she’s a third-generation Japanese-Brazilian. She studied Kendo and Seitei-Iai in Sao Paulo in 1997 at Iaido Piratininga under Tadachi Tamaki sensei.

Tati moved to New York in 2008 and joined the New York Budo Association in 2012. She holds the rank of Yondan Renshi, and is a Jun Shidoin in Ryushin Shouchi Ryu.

She is currently the school’s treasurer and works as a freelance programmer.
