YONDAN (4th DAN) – RYUSHIN SHOUCHI RYU

David joined NYBA in 2016. He holds the rank of Yondan in Ryushin Shouchi Ryu and was vice president on the board of NYBA. He was an avid windsurfer who found the zen of Japanese sword and never looked back.  Professionally he was involved in the film and commercial production industry for over 30 years. Advancing to Director of Photography and then Senior Visual Effects Supervisor.  Previously he enjoyed a theatrical career culminating as Stage Manager with American Ballet Theater.

Retired, David happily resides as a bon vivant with his wife in Manhattan.
